Make sure you shop at a store that doubles coupons, if possible. Always look at what’s on sale at the store, too.
You might find better deals by stashing your coupon section for 4 weeks before looking at it. Sometimes companies will put out coupons, then a month later they will put those items on sale at the store. This lets you get some items for next to nothing.
I also place the new coupons at the end of that section, so that when I sort through them to throw away the expired coupons, I know that the coupons in the front are the newest and don’t have to sort through the entire section.
Keep a look out for things that are on sale and use your coupons. Even if you don’t need the item at the moment, if you will definitely use the items in the future go ahead and buy it on sale with the coupon.
If a store will double your coupon and the items are on sale, you could end up getting things for next to nothing or even free.
Don’t buy something just because you have coupon. Only buy it if you really will use it.
Good luck! ( I save an average of $30 a month using coupons.)
One thing you want to do is to only clip coupons for the things that you buy or that you want to try if it is something new; shop the sales especially sales that you have coupons for; organize you coupons by catagory, ie.
Dairy
Frozen foods
Meat
Dry goods
Baking
Cleaning
By shopping the sales and at a store that doubles my coupons, I save an average of $40-50 per month on my grocery bill.

Store them in some sort of container with tabs to organize them. For example, my tabs include:
Breakfast
Pet
Canned Goods
Toiletries
Dairy
Sauces/Condiments
Snacks
Paper/Plastic
Entrees
Dairy
etc, whatever categories you want

I usually spend more and buy things I dont need when using coupons. I think they are a waste of time
