To get you into the store, to try their stuff, and hope you like it, and buy more. It’s always for SMALL qty so they don’t lose that much.
They don’t. In fact it is extremely expensive to do that. What they are hoping is, you like what you got for free, and will be willing to BUY it next time. In many company’s it’s very successful.
Usually, this method is used to draw you in or make you more aware of a certain companies products. They’re probably hoping that you’ll like their products and you will become a paying customer eventually. It’s just a free giveaway…

A: Nope no catch. You never have to pay anything. Companies are always giving away free samples because they hope that you like they’re product and become a buyer in the future.
I have found a brilliant site that will give you vouchers to anywhere you like, even online stores like amazon, itunes, asos. As long as they can buy them online and email it to you, you can choose! Its a cool idea, you complete surveys, each survey gives you points, then you swap your points for real cash vouchers….. if you refer a friend you get 2 points for every survey they complete!
