What happens to your coupons after you give them to the cashier?

I think they use them to roll joints.
They either throw em away because they get enterd. but if you dont see them enter they either use them thereselves or give them to someones eles to use.
……they markup the prices the second you walk out to make up for your savings
they get collected and put into an envelope to go back to the manufacturer.
1.cashier minuses the coupon amount
2.cashier turns them in at the end of shift with rest of money in till
3.coupons that expire that day are honored
